Information We Collect
- Personal identifiers — Full name, email address, phone number, and date of birth collected during booking.
- Driver's license — License number and issuing state, collected as part of the guest profile at checkout.
- Payment information — Card details are processed directly by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We retain only the Stripe Payment Intent and Customer IDs for reference.
- Identity verification data — Government ID images and biometric checks are processed by Stripe Identity. We receive only the verification outcome (verified / requires_input / canceled) — not the underlying document images.
- Vehicle inspection photos — Photos uploaded by guests at pickup and by our team at return are stored in our secure storage buckets for documentation purposes.
- Booking and reservation details — Pickup and return dates/times, vehicle selection, add-ons, location, pricing breakdown, and reservation status.

How We Use Your Information
- To process and confirm your vehicle reservation and generate your booking reference.
- To send booking confirmations, pickup instructions, and rental updates via email and SMS.
- To verify your identity before rental through Stripe Identity — required by our insurance providers.
- To process rental payments and authorize the refundable deposit hold through Stripe.
- To communicate time-sensitive information such as lockbox codes, vehicle location, and return reminders.
- To maintain inspection photo records for both guest and host protection in the event of a damage dispute.

Insurance policy purchase when the Bonzah coverage option is selected at checkout.
Axle
Insurance verification when guests elect to use their own existing auto insurance policy.
Twilio
SMS delivery for booking confirmations and rental updates sent to your phone number.
Resend
Transactional email delivery for booking confirmations and host notifications.
Supabase
Secure database and file storage hosting for reservation records and inspection photos.
We never sell your personal information. Data shared with third-party services is limited to what is strictly necessary for them to perform their function.

Data Storage & Security
- Reservation data, guest profiles, and booking history are stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies restricting access to authorized queries only.
- Payment card data is never stored on our servers — all payment information lives within Stripe's PCI-compliant infrastructure.
- Vehicle inspection photos are stored in private, access-controlled storage buckets — not publicly accessible.
- All pages and API endpoints on driveonhtx.com are served exclusively over HTTPS with TLS encryption.
- Dashboard access is protected by server-side password verification — no credentials are exposed client-side.

Your Rights
- Request deletion of your personal data by emailing support@driveonhtx.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
- Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message sent from our number. You will not receive further SMS after opting out.
- Opt out of marketing email by contacting support@driveonhtx.com. Transactional messages related to active reservations may still be sent.
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by emailing support@driveonhtx.com.
- Request correction of inaccurate data in your guest profile by contacting support.
